Who we are

Martina is German and moved to Brazil in 1983, after meeting Carlos Cesar at the Esalen Institute, in California, USA.

​

Here they raised a family and since 1992, they live at Fazenda Cachoeiras, in Barra Alegre, fourth district of Bom Jardim, close to Nova Friburgo.

​

She is a ceramist and designer and has become a body therapist using different massage techniques.

She is also a natural head chef and personally looks after the Morgenlicht's food and vegetable garden.

​

Carlos Cesar is a physician, body psychotherapist, trained in Bioenergetic Analysis and has worked with groups since 1986.

 

The couple built the Morgenlicht in 1996, at Fazenda Cachoeiras.

​

Since 2009, they have created and co-led therapeutic and spiritual group work.
